Until now, AltonWorks has served as the public-facing home of Rex Encore’s community development work in Downtown Alton. This winter, informed by several years of conversations and feedback, AltonWorks will relaunch with a new identity, a new mission, and new ways to engage.

AltonWorks is becoming a storytelling and civic engagement platform dedicated to celebrating Alton and the people, places and projects building the future and helping residents and visitors make the most of the present. We’ll tell Alton’s story with the community at the center, and create opportunities for resident connection and collaboration in partnership with other organizations.
